Mia

This piece was made for Ruta d´l Arte 2017. I made it when my daughter was two using her as a model. Difficult to sculpt with 2 small kids demanding attention, but I got it finished in time.
Sadly it exploded in the kiln due to not being dry enough inside! Traumatic. But I picked up the pieces and jigsawed it all together again with airdry clay and glue and got it finished intime toexhibit. Hoever it can no longer be used as a piece for outside, which is a shame. It is lifesized and does not have to be exhibited with the tree, that was just the set for this exhibition space.
