This is a return for me to Lapidiales after my residency there in 2008. This time I had a block of limestone 2.20m x 80cm x80cm and the theme was culture Arab Andalusian.
I had one month working completely by hand to realize my ambitious project of an Arabian man and his horse. I estimated 250 hours but I think it was somewhat higher than 300 by the time I finished. Here are a few pictures of me working and of the finished piece.
